pw cluster destroy
pw cluster destroy
Tear down a cloud cluster's resources, keeping its definition
Synopsis
The pw cluster destroy command deletes every cloud resource of a cluster's current deployment: controller, compute nodes, disks and networking. The cluster's definition stays, so pw cluster start can provision it again from scratch. This is also the way out of a cluster stuck in a failed state.
To stop the controller while keeping its disks, use pw cluster stop. To remove the cluster record itself, use pw cluster delete once it is off.
The command asks for confirmation unless --yes is passed. On a terminal it then opens the live view until the resources are gone; pass -o text to return as soon as the request is accepted, or --wait to block and print one line per step instead.
