This notice explains how Parallel Works, Inc. collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you apply for a job with us or join our talent network. It supplements our general Privacy Policy, which covers your use of this website. Information We Collect

When you apply, we collect the information you submit:

• Your name, email address, and country or region
• Your resume and, if you provide one, a cover letter or work sample link
• Your answers to application questions
• How you heard about Parallel Works

We do not ask for, and you should not include, sensitive information such as your race, ethnicity, religion, health information, or government identification numbers.

How We Use Your Information

We use application information to:

• Evaluate your qualifications for the role you applied to
• Communicate with you about your application
• Consider you for other current or future openings
• Comply with legal and record-keeping obligations

AI-Assisted Screening

We use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the initial screening of applications. These tools review the materials you submit against the requirements of the posted role and produce an advisory summary for our recruiting team.

Here is what that means for you in practice:

• People make the decisions. AI output is advisory only. No application is rejected or advanced automatically; a member of our team reviews applications and makes every hiring decision.
• Your name is not shown to the AI. We remove your name and contact details before AI review, and our tools are instructed to assess only job-relevant qualifications — never to use or infer characteristics such as race, national origin, age, or gender.
• Your data is not used to train AI models. The AI providers that process application content on our behalf are prohibited from using it for their own purposes, including model training.
• You can ask for human review. You may ask us to evaluate your application without AI-generated input by emailing info@parallelworks.com. Asking will not disadvantage your application.

Where Your Information Is Stored and Who Sees It

Application records are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage in the United States and are visible only to the Parallel Works team members involved in hiring. We do not sell applicant information, and we do not share it with third parties except for the service providers that host our systems or provide the screening assistance described above, or where required by law. By submitting an application from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States.

How Long We Keep It

We retain application records while your application is under consideration and afterward so that we can consider you for future openings and meet record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion of your application at any time by emailing info@parallelworks.com.

Your Rights

You may, at any time:

• Request a copy of the application information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your application records
• Request human review of your application, as described above

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To exercise any of these rights, email info@parallelworks.com and we will respond promptly.
