pw cluster update

Update a cluster's name, description, tags, network or billing group

Synopsis

The pw cluster update command changes a cluster's metadata. Only the flags given are changed. To change how a cluster is provisioned, use pw cluster definition set.

pw cluster update <cluster> [flags]

Examples

  pw cluster update --display-name "GPU scratch" --description "temporary" myhpc
  
  # Replace the tags
  pw cluster update --tag gpu --tag research myhpc
  
  # Move the cluster to another cloud network and billing group
  pw cluster update --network prod-vpc --group research myhpc

Options

      --description string    Description
      --display-name string   Display name
      --group string          Billing group
  -h, --help                  help for update
      --network string        Cloud network to place the cluster in
  -o, --output string         Output format (text, json) (default "text")
      --tag stringArray       Tag (repeatable; replaces the current tags)

Options inherited from parent commands

      --context string         The context to use. Overrides PW_CONTEXT environment variable and current context from config.
      --platform-host string   The Parallel Works ACTIVATE platform host to use. Overrides PW_PLATFORM_HOST environment variable and the current context's server.
  -v, --verbose                Enable verbose logging
