pw ssh configure

Write an OpenSSH config entry that connects through the platform

Synopsis

Write a host entry for a resource to ~/.ssh/pw_config and include it from ~/.ssh/config, so standard OpenSSH tooling connects through the platform: ssh, scp, rsync, sshfs, and IDE remote extensions.

Concurrent sessions to the host share one platform connection (ControlMaster) that outlives any single session (ControlPersist), so closing one terminal does not disconnect the others. On Windows, where OpenSSH does not support connection sharing, each session gets its own connection.

Re-running the command updates the entry in place. Use --alias when the resource's short name collides with another host in your config.

pw ssh configure [flags] <resource>

Options

      --alias string   Host alias for the entry (defaults to the resource's short name)
  -h, --help           help for configure

Options inherited from parent commands

      --context string         The context to use. Overrides PW_CONTEXT environment variable and current context from config.
      --platform-host string   The Parallel Works ACTIVATE platform host to use. Overrides PW_PLATFORM_HOST environment variable and the current context's server.
  -v, --verbose                Enable verbose logging
