# Configuring Azure NetApp Files

The configuration parameters on this page are exclusive to Azure NetApp Files.

Please note that Azure NetApp Files measures storage in tebibytes (TiB); a tebibyte is equivalent to 1,099,511,627,776 bytes, or 1.1 terabytes (TB).

#### Region

Use this dropdown menu to select the region where your storage will be created. A region represents a geographic area.

Only regions in which a network has been provisioned are listed here. Contact your organization administrator to provision a network in additional regions.

#### Service Level

Use this dropdown menu to select the service level of your filesystem. The options are `Standard`, `Premium`, and `Ultra`. This field is set to `Standard` by default.

Each service level offers a higher maximum throughput per TiB than the one before it, at a higher cost. For specific throughput numbers, please see [the Azure documentation on service levels](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-netapp-files/azure-netapp-files-service-levels).

#### Storage Size (TiB)

Use this field and slider to select the size of your storage in TiB. The minimum size is `2` TiB and the maximum size is `2000` TiB, in increments of 1 TiB.

Please note that altering the storage size or service level will affect your estimated hourly cost.
