# pw cluster view

## pw cluster view

View a cluster's status, nodes and provisioning steps

### Synopsis

The **pw cluster view** command shows a cluster's status, its nodes, the
partitions from its definition, and the provisioning steps of its latest
deployment, including the error of any step that failed.

The cluster can be given as **pw://user/cluster**, **pw://cluster** or
**cluster**, where an omitted user defaults to your username.

```
pw cluster view <cluster> [flags]
```

### Examples

```
  # View a cluster
  pw cluster view my-hpc
  
  # View a cluster owned by another user
  pw cluster view pw://Jake.Thayne/my-hpc
  
  # Show the steps of an earlier deployment
  pw cluster view --deployment 2 my-hpc
  
  # Output as JSON
  pw cluster view -o json my-hpc
```

### Options

```
      --deployment int   Deployment number to show (default latest)
  -h, --help             help for view
  -o, --output string    Output format (text, json) (default "text")
```

### Options inherited from parent commands

```
      --context string         The context to use. Overrides PW_CONTEXT environment variable and current context from config.
      --platform-host string   The Parallel Works ACTIVATE platform host to use. Overrides PW_PLATFORM_HOST environment variable and the current context's server.
  -v, --verbose                Enable verbose logging
```
