## pw cluster syslog

Print a cluster controller's system log

### Synopsis

The **pw cluster syslog** command prints the system journal of a cloud
cluster's controller, streamed from the cluster's agent. Use **--follow** to
keep printing new lines; on a cluster that is still provisioning, it first
waits for the controller's agent to connect. Use **--tail** to choose how
many recent lines to load first, and **--since** to start from a point in
time.

```
pw cluster syslog <cluster> [flags]
```

### Examples

```
  # Print the last 200 lines
  pw cluster syslog my-hpc
  # Follow the log, like tail -f
  pw cluster syslog -f my-hpc
  # Everything from the last 30 minutes
  pw cluster syslog --since 30m my-hpc
  # Everything since a point in time, then follow
  pw cluster syslog --since 2026-08-20T14:00:00Z -f my-hpc
```

### Options

```
  -f, --follow         Keep printing new lines as they are logged
  -h, --help           help for syslog
      --since string   Only lines newer than this: a duration (30m, 2h) or an RFC3339 time
      --tail int       Number of recent lines to load first (default 200)
      --tz string      IANA time zone for timestamps, e.g. America/Chicago (default: the controller's)
```

### Options inherited from parent commands

```
      --context string         The context to use. Overrides PW_CONTEXT environment variable and current context from config.
      --platform-host string   The Parallel Works ACTIVATE platform host to use. Overrides PW_PLATFORM_HOST environment variable and the current context's server.
  -v, --verbose                Enable verbose logging
```
